  • HW 5 is due Thursday, 2/22 at 11:59pm. You will receive an early submission bonus point if you turn in your final submission by Wednesday, 2/21 at 11:59pm.

  • The Project 1 checkpoint is due on Friday, 2/16 at 11:59pm.

  • Course Director/Head GSI Vinitra Swamy will be holding a conceptual office hour on functions in 413 Evans from 11 AM - 12 PM on Thursday 2/15. This is an hour to ask any conceptual questions or doubts regarding the programming fundamentals portion of course material. She will not be answering homework, lab, or project questions.
  • Project 1 will be released this Friday, 2/9. There is a checkpoint on Friday, 2/16, and the project will be due on Friday, 2/23.

  • HW 4 is due Thursday, 2/15 at 11:59pm. You will receive an early submission bonus point if you turn in your final submission by Wednesday, 2/14 at 11:59pm.

  • HW 3 has been released and is due Thursday, 2/8 at 11:59pm. You will receive an early submission bonus point if you turn in your final submission by Wednesday, 2/7 at 11:59pm.

  • HW02 has been released and is due Thursday, 2/1 at 11:59pm You will receive an early submission bonus point if you turn in your final submission by Wednesday, 1/31 at 11:59pm.

  • HW 1 is due Thursday.

  • You will receive an extra credit point for submitting hw by Wednesday at 11:59pm.

  • Attendance credit starts this week.

  • There is a mandatory welcome survey as part of HW 1.

  • Homework 01 has been published and will be due Thursday 1/25. If you turn it in by Wednesday 1/24, you will get an extra credit point on the homework. It also includes a mandatory survey at the end. Start early and come to office hours for help!

  • Attendance will be captured starting next week.

  • Lab starts this week. Bring a laptop. You can borrow one for the semester from the library if you don't have your own. See Piazza for details.

  • Create your computing account by going to datahub.berkeley.edu and logging in with your @berkeley.edu account. Try starting your server. It takes about a minute. If you have problems, let us know by coming to lab and asking questions or posting on Piazza
